This view primarily displays conversions of units all ready stored
in its database. It also provides a basic mechanism for adding and
editing units.
To add a unit, do the following:
For example, To create yard, you might select feet from the table and
enter 3 in the value field.
Note: When adding a unit in this way, the value field
will initially contain an incorrect value. Simply enter the correct
value and press enter.
When starting from scratch, The initial unit entered will have a value of 1. This will be the conversion factor and all other entries must be based on this.
UnitMaster obtains updated currency rates from Yahoo Finance. To add
a currency to its database, the unit field must contain the correct
value in order for it to retrieve the correct value for the rate. This
value can be entered in either one of two ways:
To edit any attribute of an existing entry, enter the desired value in
any of the edit fields and press enter.
To remove an entry, click the appropriate remove button. Removing a
category will remove all associated units.
